Here are the lovely youngsters who share their thoughts and questions, helping make this blog a reality!
I’m French and currently living in Paris. I started being interested in sustainability-related topics during my internship at Slow Food, more or less at the same time that I started a food blog, « Food for Fools ». After a while it became pretty clear that my interests weren’t just limited to food sustainability, and I wanted to create something bigger that would also involve the people I met along the way. My main focuses are on food (!), climate change, women rights and social equity.
My name is Alina, I live in Germany and I’m a confused student of media and culture sociology. Confused, because even after five years of studying I still don’t understand most of what’s going on in the world. When it comes to sustainability I consider myself guilty in many cases. My usual face-savers are that I’m not the best cook and that I don’t have enough money to save the planet. However I can’t help but trying to figure out what my contribution will look like.
I’m a Belgian environmental engineer currently living in California. In love with nature, I am very sensitive about environmental issues such as soil and groundwater quality and a sustainable use of natural resources. Peaceable, I want to contribute and make a difference. I believe the consumption system our society is based on is a dead end and together we should be the change we want to see in the world.
I’m an atypical Spanish forest engineer, travelling spain with job purposes and struggling to see the glass half full. I would say I am a foodie with a strong focus on safety and environmental awareness as well as waste, pollution and fair trade caring.
